From Stuck To Steady

Helping adults rebuild their lives through encouragement, accountability, and practical coaching.

THE COACHING PROGRAM

Life can leave you feeling discouraged, uncertain, or disconnected from the person you know you can become. You may have survived the situation, but surviving and rebuilding are not the same thing. You do not have to figure out your next steps alone.

Making Different Choices Coaching Program provides a structured and supportive environment where you can identify what is holding you back, establish meaningful goals, build healthier habits, and move forward with confidence.

Interactive Profile Tabs

Tyrell Laster is a coach, retired pastor, substance-use counseling professional, business owner, father, husband, and retired Correctional Captain. During a 30-year career in corrections, he supervised staff, managed difficult situations, mentored others, and learned how leadership, discipline, accountability, and sound decision-making can change lives.

Tyrell’s journey also includes personal health challenges, returning to college after approximately 35 years, rebuilding different areas of his life, and continuing to pursue new professional and educational goals. His experience proves that a setback does not have to become a permanent stopping place.

His coaching style combines genuine listening, practical planning, encouragement, accountability, faith-based principles when desired, and lessons drawn from real-life experience. He does not promise instant change. He helps clients do the honest and consistent work required to create lasting progress.

People are more than the hardest thing that has happened to them. With support, self-awareness, discipline, and a workable plan, people can learn from the past without continuing to live in it. Coaching gives clients a place to think clearly, identify their next steps, and become accountable for completing them.
